What does The Wealthy Attic do?
Our company helps you sell valuables on online auction sites such as eBay. We physically pick up valuables, conduct market research, create a photographed full listing, handle buyer interactions, pack & ship the item, and send you a payout.
How much money do I receive?
You will receive 70% of the net proceeds after the online auction fees & taxes. This will be paid to you after the buyer receives the item and is satisfied, which usually takes about 4 weeks.
You will also have the option of receiving an instant up-front cash offer based on the market value and risk that The Wealthy Attic will take on by purchasing the item directly.

Where can we meet for a transaction?
We can pick up the valuables at your home or we can meet at a nearby public location. We are currently helping clients in the Phoenix metro area.
Do I need to sign anything?
Yes, we have a contract that will need to be signed when the items are picked up that we will send beforehand via email for review. Information collected and extra fees will be disclosed beforehand and are based on the type and value of the items being sold to comply with local laws.
How large can the items be?
Ideally, items would fit in a 12” x 12 ”x 6” box, but exceptions can be made based on high-value items.
What if you damage or lose my item?
In the rare event your item is damaged or lost while in our possession, our business will cover the full estimated cost of the item.
When will I get paid?
This process typically takes around 4 weeks. Our timeline is as follows:
- Week 1: Online Communication, Item Pickup, Documentation Signing, Item Research
- Week 2: Item Listing with 7-14 Day Auction
- Week 3: End of Auction; Ship item to buyer
- Week 4: Confirm buyer received item and is satisfied; send money to customer
